The Mermaid Inn is the perfect getaway vacation home with exquisite decor throughout. It is located just a few blocks from the beach and is in perfect walking distance to shops on Ave G, restaurants, and golf cart rentals. 3 bedrooms are located upstairs and the 4th bedroom with a bunk bed is located on the first floor. There are so many things to enjoy including a screened-in porch a private side courtyard and the shared pool in the complex.

Upon entering the private entrance of the bottom floor, you already feel that you are at the beach with an open, light, and airy entertaining area. The large kitchen has quartz countertops, a beautiful backsplash, a gas stove/range, a Keurig coffee maker, new appliances, a pantry, and ample space to test out your culinary skills for family and friends. You can visit with those sitting at the bar (seating for 3) and the dining table with seating for 8. The living room has a large L-shaped couch with two accent chairs, a TV, cable, and Wi-Fi. The bottom floor has access to both the side courtyard and the back screened-in porch with ample outdoor seating for all. The first bedroom is located off of the living area, with access through a pass-through bathroom. It has a Twin over Full bunk bed, TV, and a separate door to the screened-in porch. The full bath is shared with the downstairs and has a stand-alone shower and nautical theme.
First stop upstairs is a master bedroom suite (BR2) with a King-size bed, nightstands, desk, TV, large closet, and built-in drawers for your beach attire. It has a small private balcony for taking in the sea air. The private ensuite bathroom has a double vanity and shower with a bench. There is a hair dryer for your convenience as well. Across the hall is a spacious bedroom (BR3) with a King-size bed, nightstands, suite case stand, TV, chest, and closet for your clothing. At the end of the hall is a room (BR4) with a set of Twin beds, end tables, a closet, a TV, and a chest. A shared ocean blue bath is situated between these bedrooms with a shower/tub unit. For your convenience, a washer/dryer, ironing board, and step stool are tucked neatly away in a closet at the end of the hallway. Feel safe and worry-free knowing this property has a carbon monoxide detector. The Mermaid Inn is a spacious, family-friendly property with a central location to town, restaurants, and the beach. Make your reservation, pack your towels, sunscreen, and beach attire, and come on down.

We have stayed here previously and the experience was once again excellent. It's the perfect spot for our family of eight. There were some minor issues, none of which were inconvenient, and all were swiftly addressed by the property management. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Port A.

We fell in love with Mermaid Inn. The house is beautiful and great location just minutes from beach! The little side entrance on both sides is very convenient. The little back screen in porch is a great idea. We didn’t have alot of us some had to cancel at last minute but we enjoyed the comfortable living area. The kitchen was all up to date and everything worked great. Added great features were keurig coffee pot(I loved the green) and the filtered water faucet. Cement floors were great. Just a perfect house with a beach feel . The decor was my style if I had a beach house with the greens/blues. My husband loved the master shower and the size of the master bathroom. All through the house is lots of storage places. Closets were great. Lot of drawer space. My husband also loved the main entry on the bottom floor with the privacy gate and the little bench with the towels holders to hang stuff as well as the hose/shower outside to rinse off. Reservations were easy and Followup/replies to questions we had were prompt. Nothing bad to say about this gem-we loved it and will definitely be back again!

Very Nice condo and well furnished meeting our expectations. Host was gracious and responsive to our needs and questions. Very comfortable, clean and spacious for 8 visitors. Location was walking distance to the beach and well centered for shopping, restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!!

This was a great location. It is well maintained, decorated cute, nice and clean and in a great location - close to shopping, eating and the beach. The community is quiet. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends or family.

The Mermaid Inn was wonderful! The home was beautiful and very functional accommodating my elderly parents, myself and my children and their significant others, 7 in total...and we were never on top of each other. The kitchen was perfect to cook in! Gas range! As having done this for many years, I always bring my own spices and specific cookware and cutlery. We enjoyed the screened patio and all the tropical landscaping. We will definitely book the Mermaid Inn again.

We arrived the day after hurricane Hanna made her appearance. I received an e-mail first thing that morning giving me an update on the situation. Fortunately the condo was not affected so headed that way. The condo was super clean! Beds and pillows were so comfortable which is very hard to find in vacation rentals. The kitchen had all the necessities. I absolutely love the location. It’s so close to everything in town. I will definitely book here again.

Conveniently located with easy access to shops, restaurants , grocery store and beach. Kitchen is nicely stocked and all bedrooms are nicely decorated. Mermaid theme carried throughout. The screened patio is relaxing. Did not find the couch uncomfortable, as indicated in a previous comment. I look forward to my next visit in August.

This was a great place to stay. This was a really spacious house for our gathering of 8. The house was located within a small community so the pool was nice and clean. Very close to the beach and made it easy to come back and forth. I highly recommend this house and look forward to coming back.

Location was very convenient. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable except maybe for the couches. The management company was very good to work with. Had a great time except the fish didn’t cooperate very well.
