This spacious home is a short walk to the beach by boardwalk and has use of the shared pool across the street. The back downstairs private master bedroom (BR1) suite is **connected by a Breezeway** in the back of the house. It has a King-size bed, 2 chests for your beach attire, a closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower. This suite has private access to the back patio sitting area. Between the private suite and the main house is a breezeway with covered seating and an area for entertaining with the gas grill. Inside the bottom level of the main house is a foyer/sitting area and a bedroom (BR2) with a Twin over Full bunk bed with a closet, chest, and ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower unit. Up the stairs, you will find the open-concept layout of the living, dining, and kitchen with beautiful décor. The full gourmet kitchen has spacious countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, pot, pans, and utensils to try out your cooking skills. There are limited views from the kitchen area. The dining table has seats 6 and additional seating for 3 can be found at the bar. The living room has ample seating for guests with 2 couches, 2 chairs, a TV, Wi-Fi, and cable. You can access the upstairs balcony from the living room. Guests may use the half bath in the hallway. The stackable washer and dryer are tucked neatly in a hall closet by the half bath. The upstairs master bedroom (BR3) has a King-size bed, TV, dresser, and bench. This room has a private door to the upstairs balcony. The master bathroom has double vanities, a shower, and a jacuzzi tub. Off of this bedroom sits an alcove with a Twin over Twin bunk bed with a pull-out trundle for additional room for sleeping. There are decks on both floors to enjoy the amazing views, breeze, and morning coffee. Downstairs you will find an outdoor shower for rinsing off under after a day at the beach.

979 Banyon Beach

We were quite happy with our stay at 979 Banyon Beach. The layout of the house worked really well for us. My daughter was celebrating her 18th bday party with her friends. The adults, me - her mom and my sister, stayed in the detached guest room while the kids had the run of the house. We were there to keep an eye on them, but to also have a little vacay of our own out of the sight of teens. The house was quite nice with tons of outdoor spaces to choose from ie a deck off the primary bedroom, a deck off of the living room in the back of the house, a patio in front of the detached guest room and a deck in the back of the guest room where we spent most of our time. The house was clean and fully stocked with towels dishes, etc. We brought our own beach towels as they don't provide beach towels. The gulf cart was a plus - great fun zipping around on it. Recommendations for the guest house. There are 2 tall, skinny chest of drawers. Get rid of at least one. There is a large closet that will be sufficient for most. Instead, put a mini fridge down there. 1, the coffee pot does not work on the tall, skinny chest of drawers as it can't reach the outlet, so you have to move it to plug in. A mini fridge will be the perfect height. and 2, it will be really nice to have down there for anyone not joining the larger party, like older folks that might like it a bit quieter. I thought all of the backyards so close to eachother would be awkward and feel like a lack of privacy, but it was great to see all of the families in their backyards. There was a real sense of community. ONe house would play their music, then another - seemed everyone was very respectful and it was quiet at night. The location was supreme. A very pleasant walk to the beach and the water was visible from the back deck. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great vacay!

Loses a star as bedroom windows need shades on high accent windows. Neighbors have lights on all night so lights up the bedrooms all night :( upstairs big bed very hard. Everything else was fantastic!! Walk to beach, awesome golf cart. The house exceeded expectations in size, set up, convenience, cleanliness, etc. Also could use a bit more instructions like where was the golf cart key hidden, how to operate cabana a/c, how to leave dirty towels, etc. Also needed a spray cleaner for kitchen counters.

We loved the Banyan Beach house. There was plenty of room for us to be all together or spread out when needed. Access to the pool directly across the street and access to the boardwalk to the beach was awesome. We loved our time there and would tell anyone to stay there!

I’m so glad we found 979 Banyan Beach, and found Life in Paradise vacation rentals. They were so easy to work with. There was always someone to answer my calls with questions, calling me back if they didn’t have an immediate answer. A real plus. The house was nice and comfortable. Had all the appliances needed, even a keurig coffee maker as well as a decent drip coffee maker. Layout of the unit a bit different, but ended up being perfect for us. Master closet doubled as a second bunk room which was perfect for our granddaughter. The master bath was spacious and also a guest bath for her in the hallway. Her older brother was able to have the downstairs bunk room and bath to himself. Kitchen/living area very nice. Roku TV, internet. Great porch spaces off master, living, kitchen and downstairs! My daughter and son-in-law stayed in the detached mother in law suite. Very nice. My only suggestion would be to put a keypad lock on the back doors that lead to the suite across a breezeway. We were not given any keys to the house, therefore had to leave these doors unlocked at night because there is not a pathway around the house to get back to the front door. Of course, loved the boardwalk to the beach. Short and convenient! Disappointed in the grounds around Banyan Beach. Grass long and millions of stickers growing over the common sidewalk. Community pool was cloudy. We called Life in Paradise who immediately called HOA, and was cleaned and repaired the next day. When all said and done, would we stay here again? Absolutely!!

Spacious House with Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We were there with our 2 daughters, ages 24 & 26, and their boyfriends so having 3 separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms worked really well. The living room with the 2 couches plus chairs was also great for hanging out together. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we have ever had in a vacation rental with all necessary appliances, cooking pans, Keurig and several different settings of plates and glasses. With the community pool right across the street and the sidewalk right behind the house leading to the private walkway to the beach, the location was the best!! When we got to the house, the ceiling lightbulbs were burned out in 1 of the bathrooms and they sent someone over right away to replace them. There were a couple of mechanical issues with the house but nothing that inhibited our ability to have a great family vacation. The doors were locked with a number code that was texted to us at check-in time which was very convenient. We didn't turn on the tv's that were in 2 of the 3 bedrooms but the TV in the living room had Netflix and YouTube. There also was a DVD player in the living room. There were books and games at the house. The central air worked perfect for the entire house, water pressure in all showers were great! There is also a stacked washer/dryer but bring your own laundry supplies! Also bring your own toilet paper and paper towels. Our master bath didn't have ANY tp and they left us 1/3 of a roll of paper towels which was supposed to last us a week? I was prepared though since this is common practice but not usually so little for a rental. I would definitely rent this house again!

The house has a fully stocked kitchen, easy access to the beach and is close to restaurants and stores. The community pool is great, as most of the other houses in the development have their own pool. So not crowded. Of note, if using the mother in law suite, must turn on the dehumidifier provided, and empty daily. Otherwise it is very humid and stuffy.

This was the second time we booked this house. It was beautiful and perfect. Many houses/condos in Port A stink of mildew (due to last hurricane). This house did not even have a hint of mildew smell. It was clean and ready for us upon arrival.

We have rented this house before - and it was even better than I remember it. What a wonderful place to gather family for the holidays. The living dining area was spacious. The beds were comfortable with plenty of fresh towels and amenities in the bathrooms. Nice quiet rental community

Place was perfect. The outside room downstairs was perfect for grandparents to have private area but still be a part of the family. Grown daughters and a friend slept fine downstairs. My younger boys enjoyed the bunk beds and grown son took the foldout. The space was nice and we left the top off the Jeep all week and kept it in the garage. Parking was a small issue but there is plenty of parking just across the street at the pool. The pool was nice and not used a lot because several houses in the area have private pools. So we had the pool mostly to ourselves every time we went. Beach was not a far walk but we love to park close to the water so we didn’t utilize this feature as much as I planned. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. I suggest taking inventory on what’s available before getting groceries. We cooked and ate mostly at the house so that saves money. 2 upstairs desks were nice and made the entire house feel much larger. Same with the bar area under the house. We had plenty of room for everyone and even had a family of 4 more come over for a cookout one night. Very open concept. I would not recommend for a family with a bunch of small children because of the stairs (although it did have a baby gate we found and kept at the top of the stairs for our 2 year old son) and also because the 3 biggest rooms are separated so much. 1 master (and bunk room closet) upstairs, 1 bedroom downstairs by the garage and 1 bedroom separate from the main house.

Loved the location since it was just a short walk to the beach. Loved having the pool across the street also. Balconies were great. Didn't really care for the one bedroom that wasn't attached to the rest of the house. Not really child friendly - the 20 month old kept getting into cabinets. Overall though it was a great vacation.

Great Family Vacation In This House

We were here 7/14/17-7/17/2017 for 3 nights. 6 adults and one child. The location was great! Quiet neighborhood with a pool across the street. We ate on the balcony each night. Beach was a short walk across the boardwalk. I liked that there was a wagon to haul all of our stuff to the beach. Only have a couple of petty negative things. There was no dishwasher soap, no toilet paper in the 1/2 bath, all spoons had food on them, and only had a half a roll of paper towels. The one bedroom was not attached to the house, which I did not like too much. Other than that enjoyed our stay.

We could not have picked a better place than this property.
We had plenty of room and bathrooms for all our family! The ocean breeze made the patios and decks very comfortable! Pool location was great for our needs.
While the grill worked, it needs to be upgraded.
While not a big problem the master bath shower did not drain well at all!

Port Aransas in the winter and early Spring offers a quite and calm environment. The weather is generally mild, there are no crowds and the beach is perfect for peaceful walks. It is in stark contrast to the hectic life during the summer months.

The property was very nice; clean and ready with everything we needed to start our weekend. The management group sent emails ahead of arrival with instructions on access to the property and invoicing for the stay. Picked up the keys around 7:30pm on the 15th without an issue. Moved right in and had a blast. We've stayed at this property about 6 times over the past several years. We always enjoy it. The only issue now is that as the community has grown some weekenders in other properties are not as courteous as they should be.

We had such a great time during our stay! This house is so roomy and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and were very pleased with it. Ten people fit comfortably in the house. There were plenty of bedrooms and restrooms in the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The downstairs shower in the extra room, was slow to drain, but it wasn't a big deal. Everything else was wonderful. The house was steps away from the beach. The management people were so nice to us. They were very pleasant and helpful.

It was perfect for our 4 toddlers and 5 adults. Great seating for meals. Loved sitting out on the porch. The children liked being able to see the ocean from the porch. Enjoyed the pool...not crowded. Even though we had rain, it did not interfere with our good times. Our only challenge was getting the wagons & toddlers down the stairs on the boardwalk.
