This home boasts an island style interior with wood floors; and designer furniture and it is perfect for families vacationing together. The Lookout offers a spacious open living; dining; kitchen combo which is great when it comes to showing off your culinary skills or hanging around with friends and family. The master bedroom offers a plush king size bed, TV and private ensuite bathroom. The two guest bedrooms are queens with flat screen TV's and bathroom. The bunkroom offers two twin/twin bunk beds. The resort features two shared pools -- a sparkling resort pool with a dining pavilion; a seasonal café; and shaded kids lounge; and a tranquil adults-only pool.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful, very clean, well-stocked and supplied all our needs. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the downstairs had its own TV/couch area separate from the main living room upstairs. It was a great place for the kids to hang out! My favorite place in the house was the lookout tower that had a peaceful and beautiful view of the ocean. The proximity from the house to the beach and community pool was a huge perk! We rented a golf cart from Sunflower which made getting to the beach with all of our gear even easier! I would recommend Sunflower Resort, and this house in particular, to any family wanting to stay within a short drive to Port Aransas with close beach access and fun family amenities at the pool!

Overall

We had a wonderful time at The Lookout. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us (8 adults 2 kids). Seating in the living area was roomy and the dining table was big enough for all of us to eat together. The lookout tower had a nice view of the beach for morning coffee. We rented a golf cart, and it was a short drive down the boardwalk to the beach. We would recommend it and will definitely stay here again.
